our fearless leader won a 1st place in his class & Brian
was robbed when they put him in mild, they didn't have a street class at this
show. His truck was still one of the cleanest trucks out there, even though it
was windy most of the night. The weekend went by really fast, at least in my
eyes. Steve, Carol, Andi, Brian, Shauna, Julie
& Joker rolled up to the run
together. We played some horse shoes on Friday before we had to give up our
extra spot to another club. The girls went on a little excursion to the Calico
ghost town. We went up to the cemetery about 9pm. We tried to get Brian to lay
on one of the graves but were interrupted by a park ranger. The ranger 1st told
us the cemetery was closed then proceeded to give us a tour. We went back to
camp, drank, sat by the fire, went in the motor home played some cards &
drank some more. Saturday went fast as well. We played some more cards, drank
& got ready for the show. The show was about an hour behind, so everything
we did was also an hour behind. Donald showed up
about 4pm, he set up a canopy for the S.C.M.T.C. By this time it was really
windy, but nothing us die hard Mini Truckers couldn't handle. Donald had to duct
tape his canopy to a post so it wouldn't fly away. We didn't eat dinner until
8:30-9. We missed the hood-rat contest. I think Donald might have got some
pictures, but I'm not sure. Evil Dimensions had about 325 vehicles in the show.
Everyone won something in the raffle. The trophies were handed out about
10:30-11pm. Over all I think the show went well. After the show we went back to
camp, drank, sat by the fire, went in the motor home played some cards &
drank some more. Sunday we all went our own way. Hope everyone who went had a
good time & those who didn't wished they did.
